    • Investing in low-income communities, urban and rural areas by strengthening associations and improving government support to small businesses.
    • Advocating for fair pay and safe workplace policies, and using government purchasing power to incentivize private companies to recruit and support low-income people, women, and people with disabilities.
  4. Education and Public Services:
    • Believing in education as a critical public good and increasing investments to guarantee all students can access high-quality public schools.

  5. Protecting Women’s Rights:
    • Guaranteeing equal rights for women and gender equality.
    • Taking aggressive action to end pay inequality and increasing penalties against companies that discriminate against women.
    • Ending sexual assault, domestic abuse, and other violence against women, including violence against LGBTQ+ communities.
    • Ensuring access to high-quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion.
  6. Protecting LGBTQ+ Rights:
    • Advocating for equal treatment under the law and in society for LGBTQ+ people.
    • Expanding mental health and suicide prevention services and banning harmful “conversion therapy” practices.
    • Ensuring that transgender and non-binary people can procure official government identification documents that accurately reflect their gender identity.
    • Ending the homelessness crisis among LGBTQ+ youth and prioritizing the investigation of hate crimes against transgender and non-binary people.
  7. Protecting Disability Rights:
    • Supporting people with disabilities to lead full, happy, and healthy lives.
    • Expanding early childhood screening and promoting equitable treatment of students with disabilities in schools.
    • Eliminating waiting lists for home and community-based care and expanding support for informal caregivers.
  8. Labor Rights:

    • Supporting the rights of unions and workers to organize and collectively bargain.

These policies reflect RGP’s commitment to achieving social justice by addressing economic disparities, ending discrimination, supporting vulnerable communities, and ensuring equal access to opportunities and resources for all individuals.
